Live without a single breathe

by Julie sullivan
(Las Vegas nevada)

If I never had to breathe,
then you never would believe
that fairy tales were haunted.

Darling this isn't what I wanted.
I gave you what I had to give
and then you took my right to live.

Told me that I wasn't worth it,
that I really don't deserve it.

Even though I am a mistake
I still count as a life to take.

I can't control what you say to me
but I can control how deep I bleed.

Don't fall on any of the memories
the truth you told makes it hard to breathe.

You lied, your words I can't forgive,
I tried but yet I can't forget.

You do not have to forget in order to forgive. Holding grudges only causes YOU pain.
