What should I do with my life?

by Andrea

I've given this a lot of thought. I really don't know what I want to do as a career and to go to college for. Once I think I like something then I loase interest. I'm not smart at all.

I work hard, I really do, but it doesn't seem to show. I learn by remembering stuff for the test but not long-term. I thought I was good at biology but my teacher told me I wasn't today.

I'm Not good at history or sciences or math either. I'm not good at sports or art. People think that I'm lazy and it may look that but I try really hard. I'm very sensitive and people break me very easily.

I'm good at writing but there aren't many jobs with that. Can anyone help me?

The most wealthy people in the world either started off or became an author. Weather it be in their chosen field or an autobiography about their life. And the wonderful thing about being a writer is the freedom to work from where ever you want. Set your own hours if freelance and don't have to answer to any boss!

Instead of focusing any more energy on what you are not good at, focus on what you are 'writing' All successful people focus completely on one goal at a time. Get great at writing do classes and read many books.

Never let someone Else's opinion ie- your teacher, determine who you are. The beauty of life is that we are all blessed with unique talents that are needed by the rest of the world. We all have different learning styles and types and not everyone is academic. That does not mean you are not smart, you are creative if you love to write... 'the creators of this world are the true pioneers'

Not knowing what you want to do is fine, but in the meantime focus on what you are good at 'writing' Practice daily, have a journal and record your thoughts and feelings for the day the more you write the better you will become naturally.
