Our Widow's Mite

by Tashi Zadok
(Abuja, Nigeria)

To want to be,
To stand and see.
A nation strong,
forever Young.

To look beyond
The yonder's bound.
To leave a mark
That never lacks.

To be or not to be is the question
-Shakespeare said,
But what we do in faith
We make a better fate.

To thou begone,
To you become.
And though the winds shall come again,
The Eagle shall rise to fight again.

When the wind changes so does life, is what I get when I read your poem.
