Victoria's Weekly Guidance 15/10/2012 'Don't get involved in other peoples arguments'
by Victoria Grant
Don't get involved in other peoples arguments just because you believe that you can sort it out.
Unless you have been personally invited to mediate between the parties involved it is my experience that getting in between an angry couple can at times do a lot more harm than good.
If you feel that you can add value to a situation then by all means and if it is safe to do so then go ahead and ask politely if they would like some suggestions or your thoughts on the matter.
By asking first you allow the people involved to stop and think 'maybe another opinion wouldn't hurt.'
If they decide to hear your views then it becomes your responsibility to add real value to the conversation by staying non judgemental and not taking sides.
It is not your duty as a spiritual being to play judge and jury. 'leave that to the creators somehow they always pass out the right punishments.'
It is however your role to simply witness and find ways to shed unconditional love on the situation that will create a great outcome.
To often it is the one with the best intentions that gets involved with hopes to rectify a situation only to fall victim to the short end of the stick. I'm sure you have all heard 'don't shoot the messenger' and the same rule applies here.
So if you find yourself to drawn in to an argument then remember your role and play your position.
Stay true to you and only voice positive opinions that are intended to uplift and encourage all.
Love and Light Always
